The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived: The 2026 Walk & Roll to Cure FSHD season is officially here!

Starting at the end of August through October, communities in more than 27 cities across the U.S. and Canada will come together to walk, roll, and rally for one shared mission: accelerating research, expanding education, and strengthening support for the 1 million people worldwide living with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD).
More Than a Walk
It’s about kids, parents, friends, and neighbors showing up, in sneakers, in wheelchairs, on scooters to say: we’re in this together, and we’re not slowing down. Ultimately, it’s about community.

Why This Season Matters
FSHD is progressive and currently has no treatment or cure but momentum is building. Breakthrough research and promising therapies are advancing, and a first-ever disease-modifying treatment is within reach. Every registration, every team, and every dollar raised this season helps move that timeline forward.

How YOU can get involved and make a difference:

Let’s Make This Our Biggest Season Yet!
Whether you’re a longtime team captain or lacing up for your very first walk, there’s a place for you in this movement. Every step — walked or rolled — brings us closer to a cure.
We can’t wait to see you out there!
