Digital Marketing Coordinator
An Sasala, Digital Marketing Coordinator, joined FSHD Society in Fall 2023. An is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns. A graduate of the University of Kansas, An holds Masters degrees in Film & Media Studies and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies. They have served on the board and/or staff of five nonprofits and are passionate about using media and communications to increase public and stakeholder awareness and engagement. New to working in the rare disease field, An brings years of experience designing websites and telling stories to FSHD Society.
Outside of work, An is a nationally recognized and certified roller derby official. They have refereed games in more than 8 states and currently serve as Head Ref of the Capital City Crushers and Head Coach of the Kansas City Junior Roller Warriors.
