Heidi Roy
Heidi Roy, Director of Stewardship & Community Engagement, joined the FSHD Society in January of 2020. She brings with her 14 years of experience in non-profit development. She began her career with the National MS Society in 2005 as the New Hampshire Development Coordinator and attained Director of Development during her 8 years with the Society. She was the Chief Development Officer for the New England Chapter of Cure SMA for 4 years, including when Spinraza was approved by the FDC as the first treatment for SMA. Most recently, she was the Director of Development at the YMCA of Greater Nashua.
Heidi received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services from the University of Maine at Farmington. She lives in Manchester, NH, with her 2 sons.
Heidi is excited to once again be working toward finding a treatment and a cure for a rare, genetic disease.
