Join disability rights advocate Marisa Spain as she provides our community with a clear and practical overview of Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its implications for workers with disabilities. This session will explore key considerations for people with FSHD—such as requesting reasonable accommodations from an employer and understanding disclosure during the hiring process. Marisa will also share direct self-advocacy strategies and information about what actions you can take if you think you have experienced disability related discrimination from an employer.
