Please join us for our final chapter meeting of 2019. We’ll celebrate our chapter’s accomplishments this year as well as talk about what our plans for 2020 are. Lastly, we’ll have a chance to tour the amazing and beautiful Neurobalance Center.
You may have talked to the Neurobalance Center at our walk or heard them talk at Family Day, but this is your chance to tour this non-profit’s state of the art facility. It’s designed specifically for people living with physical challenges. Their focus is on helping people contend with conditions that affect their mobility, balance, strength, gait, coordination and speech. Participants come to them because a diagnosis has changed what daily life looks like. Their independence is being threatened by a medical condition. Most are living with chronic, progressive disorders that impact mobility and movement.
In shorter words: they exist to help people like us with FSHD. It’s a great opportunity to see a facility that’s located outside the city that can work with and care of people with FSHD.
Light refreshments will be served.
“We hope to see you there!” – Dave Lukas, Chicagoland Chapter Director
