4:30pm ET / 3:30 CT / 2:30 MT / 1:30 PT
This session will help us understand the difference between “accessible” and “universal” design and show us, with a variety of photo examples, how universal design can turn a home into an FSHD-friendly place to thrive. You will get loads of ideas to solve daily living challenges. This session will be interactive, with lots of opportunity for discussion throughout as the photo examples are viewed. If you are in the process of planning a change to your home, consider inviting your family members, caregivers, etc. to join them during this session.
Led by Jane Nemke
Note: this session will start at 4:30 p.m. EST and run for 90 minutes. There will be no informal, pre-session conversation before.
