Leg braceOur Connecticut chapter director, Kathy Senecal, wrote in our newsletter about how this type of leg brace made a difference in her life. In speaking with a leading FSHD physical therapist, we realized that stance control braces are not well-known or widely used for FSHD patients. In this webinar, Kathy Senecal is joined by Abbey Downing, a certified prosthetist/orthotist with the Hanger Clinic in Wethersfield, CT, and Katy Eichinger, DPT, a research physical therapist from the University of Rochester’s Fields Center for FSHD Research.
