We can change the future of FSHD. Double your impact while matching funds last!
by Kim Shanley
We’re only halfway through 2025, and it’s already been an incredible year for our DIY and endurance community at the FSHD Society.
Kicking things off, Michael Ahlers conquered the legendary Triple Bypass ride, pedaling up and down the Rockies and raising almost $11,000 to help us power the path forward. On August 17th, we returned to the iconic Falmouth Road Race for the third year in a row, with six dedicated runners representing the FSHD Society at this historic Cape Cod event and raised almost $19,000!
And that was just the summer!
This fall, we’re thrilled to introduce two exciting new endurance events:
The Twin Cities Marathon & 10-Mile Race takes place on October 5th. This race is often called America’s Most Beautiful Urban Marathon, the Twin Cities Marathon took our runners through scenic neighborhoods, past historic landmarks, and across the mighty Mississippi River—all with vibrant fall colors as their backdrop.
