The Atlanta chapter of the FSHD Society is a local group of people, families, and advocates working together to support those living with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). Whether you join us in person or virtually, our chapter offers a place to connect with others who understand what you’re going through.

Jack Gerblick is the Chapter Director for the Atlanta Chapter of the FSHD Society and has been living with FSHD since 1991. His personal experience with the condition drives his passion to support others in the FSHD community.
In addition to leading the Atlanta Chapter, Jack is also the Chair of the Community Engagement Committee for the FSHD Society, where he works to build connections and raise awareness of the disease. Through his volunteer efforts, Jack aims to strengthen the FSHD network, offer support, and help those impacted by the condition find a sense of community and hope.
While Jack is powering the path forward, we’re always looking for passionate individuals to help with planning events, spreading the word, and working on other projects. Your involvement will make a big difference in growing the chapter and supporting those affected by FSHD.
