I am so excited to be able to start a chapter in Nevada. I have had signs throughout my life that I had FSHD, especially with my family history. I tried to ignore, hoping if you don't think or talk about it, it will go away. In 2020, I had no choice but to face the reality and in that I found the FSHD Society.
The resources that are available and the work that is being done is so inspiring, so I knew I wanted to be a part of this community. I look forward to meeting others in Nevada & Southern Utah that are affected by FSHD.
My husband and I are natives in Las Vegas, and I am a proud mom to my 6 children and 2 grand-babies!
