Great Fundraising = Great Rewards
To say THANK YOU to our wonderful fundraisers, we award prizes for reaching certain fundraising benchmarks...
Since it began with just a handful of events in 2018, participating in a Walk & Roll has been a life-changing event. It has united families, friends, neighbors, and local businesses to forge powerful connections and strengthen our families and our community.
Volunteer leaders from coast to coast are back, stronger than ever, coordinating the largest Walk & Roll effort to date. Here are just a few things you can look forward to in 2021:
International Celebration Livestream with FSHD Radio
Once again, our FSHD Radio podcast host, Tim Hollenback, will hold a 4 hour, coast to coast, Walk & Roll celebration livestream. Walkers and Rollers will check in live from Florida, to Canada, to California - and all points in between. We will recognize teams and top fundraisers, share personal stories, and come together, one voice that is thousands strong, to say, "FSHD does not get the final word; we will keep walking and rolling until a cure is found!"
To celebrate and honor our team captains, who put in the extra time and effort to rally their family and friends for FSHD! We'll come together on Zoom, team captains from coast to coast, to celebrate our best and brightest and pack your team captain toolkit for even greater success in 2021!
Participate in the way that works best for you!
Whether you join us in person or virtually, all roads come together through powerful online tools and an international livestream celebration happening on September 18th. Perhaps you want to participate, but live far from the event site? Maybe you are a morning person and want to walk/roll at 7am! Whatever you are most comfortable with, there is a way for you to join this incredible effort!
We are excited to welcome back Max Adler, best known for his roles on Glee or Switched at Birth, most recently seen in Trial of the Chicago Seven, as our Walk & Roll to Cure FSHD National Ambassador
"I watched my Mom and Grandma struggle with this disease, and I don’t want that to happen to anyone, anywhere, ever again. Searching to find a treatment and cure led me to the FSHD Society, the world’s largest research-focused patient organization for FSHD."
